Another key factor is in modern day the average person in the UK consumes a decent amount of screen time and popular blockbuster films would appeal due to advertisement on screens during the time period the target audience of 15-40 consume screen time around 9pm. a popular media institution such as NETFLIX will be heavily interested in our film due to the popular genre of film and the target audience who regularly use Netflix, therefore our film can make them profitable.   How did you attract/address your audience?                       Age of our characters / Actors The element of age was a fundamental category used to attract an audience and our target audience on the basis of creating a young cast similar to our own age of 14/18 to which fits with a teenage / young adult audience, whom we used as our target audience. We believe we fit the stereotypes of teenage violence by using criminality in or film associated with the characters which adds mystery and adrenaline with our action-packed film. The cast: Genre / style used for our film The genre used for our film is an action film. We used this because in relation to our target audience, the preferred genre for that age group was action. PRELIMINARY TASK

Based on your first draft what did you learn during your preliminary task that you want to avoid /implement/develop upon in your actual coursework? Avoid -  Things that I learnt from the preliminary task that I want to avoid is background noise, to make sure the camera has a good balance and is stable and have a variety of camera shots and angles. Background noise in the preliminary task was very awkward because of people talking in the background therefore in the coursework I would like to avoid this by making the location we chose quite and preventing any background noise so the weather would have to be appropriate to do this. Camera balance is something I have tried to improve since the preliminary task to do this I have used a variety of equipment to keep it balanced as I found the camera shaked a lot, therefore when it comes to filming I want to avoid this to get the best product I can. A bad variety of camera shots and angles needs to be avoided because I belie...

CHARACTERS AND CASTING

Image
Characters and Casting Final character profiles and cast list of who is playing who? The character profiles are the same as before we decided we liked the idea of the background and life therefore there is no differences to be added. Cast list; Harvey Folkard - Plays the part of Harry Bloomfield Joe Kirby - Plays the part of Alfie Jones Jack Kirby - Plays the part of the Unknown man Images and justification of the casting members? The reason why we used Jack shown in the first image to play the part of the unknown man is because he understood the role clearly and knew what had to be done but also that we had a dilemma with the other actor that was supposed to be playing that role therefore Jack stood up and done it. The second image is Harvey who plays the part of Harry Bloomfield and we used him because we felt for the boxer needed to be someone who looked older and stronger to give the impression of being a boxer which we feel like has been portrayed well. The final image is J...
